Account Executive

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive (based in our Sydney office), you’ll play a pivotal role in our next stage of growth across ANZ region. You’ll own the full sales cycle from discovery to negotiation to close and help businesses modernise the way they manage cash flow.

This is a high-impact role for someone who loves consultative selling, solving real business problems, and being part of a fast-moving, ambitious team.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Revenue Growth
  • Convert qualified leads into new customers through a structured, consultative sales process.

  • Run compelling product demos (virtual or in person) that connect customer pain points to measurable business value.
Consult, Solve, and Influence
  • Understand the financial, operational, and technical landscape of mid-market organisations.
  • Lead business-case conversations with CFOs, Finance Leaders, Credit Managers, Operations, and technical stakeholders.
  • Craft tailored proposals and commercial agreements that align with customer needs
​​​​​​​Manage the Complete Sales Cycle
  • Build momentum through structured discovery, solution mapping, objection handling, and deal progression.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, forecasting discipline, and CRM updates (HubSpot).
Collaborate to Win
  • Work closely with BDRs, Partner Managers, and Sales Leadership to refine closing strategies.
  • Provide feedback to Product, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to support market-led innovation.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, messaging, and revenue playbooks.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Experience
  • 2+ years in a similar consultative selling role with previous BDR/cold calling experience.
  • Background in a SaaS Fintech company, ideally with accounting/ERP B2B sales, payments technology experience or other similar apps 
  • Finance or business-related background, or experience working in a wholesale / manufacturing environment.
  • Must be tech-savvy, with experience in CRM software like HubSpot, other productivity and AI tools 
  • Proven ability to lead simple and if need be - complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Strong presentation skills,  for in-person and virtual  meetings with multiple stakeholders such as CFO, Financial Controller, and technical teams
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple stakeholders internally and externally
