ezyCollect is entering an exciting new chapter. Now part of Sidetrade, a global leader in AI-powered Order-to-Cash solutions, we’re combining our local expertise with world-class technology and international scale. As more finance teams across Australia and beyond look to automate their accounts receivable and improve cash flow, demand for ezyCollect has never been higher.To keep up with this momentum, we’re hiring two BDRs based in our Sydney office to help us respond to growing inbound enquiries and proactively build high-quality pipelines through outbound outreach. This role is pivotal to our future growth and puts you at the frontline of engaging and educating the next wave of ezyCollect customers.
What this really means day to day
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website enquiries, and partner referrals, ensuring high-intent prospects are fast-tracked to our Account Executives
- Run outbound prospecting to target accounts in key verticals (manufacturing, construction, food & beverage, and more), using multi-channel outreach including phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Book qualified meetings for AEs that convert into real pipeline and revenue
- Develop deep knowledge of our ICP, buyer personas, and what makes AR automation valuable to CFOs, Financial Controllers, and AR Managers
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and share frontline insights that sharpen our go-to-market
The ideal candidate
- Based in Australia, with the right to work
- Must have 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation (inbound & outbound) or customer facing role (SaaS/Finance experience a plus)
- Minimum 1 year experience in accounting systems/ERPs like Xero, NetSuite, MYOB or Payments/Fintech or SaaS companies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, you're comfortable picking up the phone cold calling and writing punchy, clear emails
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage a high-volume workload without losing focus on quality
- Curious and coachable, you ask good questions, take feedback on board, and want to get better every week
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo) and prospecting tools is a bonus
- Demonstrated history of consistent, quantifiable achievements in previous roles
